TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2009 REGULAR BOARD OF TRUSTEE MEETING

 

 

OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEE’S, TOWN OF CHATSWORTH, HELD IN THE TOWN COUNCIL ROOM AT 7:00 P.M.

 

ROLL CALL SHOWED THE FOLLOWING PRESENT;  PRESIDENT HABERKORN, TRUSTEES MILLER, BIRKENBEIL, WILES, RUNYON, DILLER AND KUBIAK.

ATTORNEY WEEKS PRESENT.  TREASURER GERDES-HIBSCH AND ZONING COMMISSIONER DOHMAN ABSENT.

 

A MOTION BY TRUSTEE WILES AND SECONDED BY TRUSTEE BIRKENBEIL TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING.

VIEWED CORRESPONDENCE FROM GREATER LIVINGSTON COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL REGARDING TOWN OF CHATSWORTH 2010 MEMBERSHIP TO THE COUNCIL, AT A COST OF 4 DIFERENT LEVEL CHOICES RANGING FROM BRONZE LEVEL MEMBERSHIP COST OF $1,265.00 (BASED ON $1.00 PER CAPITA) TO PLATINUM LEVEL MEMBERSHIP COST OF $2,530.00 ($2.00 PER CAPITA).

HAVE COMPLETED THE 90 DAY PROBATION AND AN ADDITIONAL 60 DAY PROBATION PERIOD.  EMPLOYEE REVIEW & EVALUATION SET FOR THE DECEMBER 22, 2009 BOARD OF TRUSTEE MEETING.

TO APPROVE THE LIVINGSTON COUNTY SHERIFF CONTRACT FOR DEPUTY SERVICES FOR A ONE YEAR PERIOD BEGINNING DECEMBER 1, 2009 AND ENDING NOVEMBER 30, 2010, IN THE AMOUNT OF $55,118.16.  (INCREASE OF $1080.85)

BOARD REQUESTED ATTORNEY WEEKS SEND A LETTER TO 504 E CHERRY CONCERNING THE ALLEY BEING TORN UP WHEN CONDITIONS ARE MUDDY.  ALSO, REQUESTED ATTORNEY PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE ELECTRONIC TRAINING REGARDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT.

 

TRUSTEE BIRKENBEIL REPORTED ON THE MEETING WITH PRINSCO AND AMEREN REPRESENTATIVES REGARDING RELOCATION OF ELECTRIC LINES TO THE SOUTH COUNTRY WELL.  RELOCATION PLAN BEING WORKED ON IS TO PUT UNDERGROUND IN, PROVIDED RIGHT OF WAY EASEMENTS CAN BE OBTAINED FROM PROPERTY OWNERS.

 

TRUSTEE WILES WILL OBTAIN DEMOLITION QUOTES ON SEVERAL ABANDONED NUISANCE PROPERTIES.

 

EMPLOYEE MAXSON REQUESTED TO PURCHASE A 36” PIPE WRENCH
