Official proceedings of the Board of Trustee’s, Town of Chatsworth, held in the Town Council room at 8:00 p.m.
Roll call showed the following present: President Runyon, Trustees Galen Schaffer, Shane Bell, Terry Miller, Josh Bell, Nick Kubiak, and Will Price: Also present Treasurer Gerdes-Hibsch and Superintendent Ledford.
A motion by Trustee Price and seconded by Trustee Kubiak to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Board of Trustee votes: 6 Yea
Sheriff’s Deputy Sergeant Mitchell report: There were 78 calls, 22 citations and 14 warnings for the month of April. The Town has a new resident Deputy Emily Anderson.
President Runyon explained what he expects from the New Board and parliamentary procedures to the New Members.

A motion by Trustee Miller and seconded by Trustee Shane Bell to have the meeting on the second and fourth Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
Roll Call: Trustee Kubiak – Nay, Trustee Miller – Yea, Trustee Josh Bell – Yea, Trustee Schaffer – Yea, Trustee Shane Bell – Yea, Trustee Price – Nay. Motion passed 4 Yea, 2 Nay.
A motion by Trustee Josh Bell and seconded by Trustee Miller to move the second meeting in May to May 30, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Board of Trustee votes: 4 Yea / 2 Nay

President Runyon did not recommend the Town Attorney or Engineers at this time to the board at this time.
A motion by Trustee Miller and seconded by Trustee Schaffer to renew the MFT CD’s for 1 year at a rate of .15% Board of Trustee votes: 6 Yea
Terry Belousek asked if the sidewalk program will be the same ($3.50 a running foot) and when can he get his replaced. Since the Committees have changed the Board asked that he wait until the Committee for sidewalks can meet and discuss the program.
A motion by Trustee Kubiak and seconded by Trustee Miller to get the H.P. printer that Carraway Computer Systems recommends: cost approximately $459.00.

Need the Members to get ideas together for the next meeting on summer part time help.
A motion by Trustee Kubiak and seconded by Trustee Schaffer to get the fill dirt for the Mini Park extension before Heritage Days. Board of Trustee votes: 6 Yea
A motion by Trustee Price and seconded by Trustee Josh Bell to Approve Signature cards for President Runyon, Treasurer Gerdes-Hibsch and Clerk Kerber. Board of Trustee votes: 6 Yea
A motion by Trustee Kubiak and seconded by Trustee Shane Bell to allow the Clerk to pay regular utility bills before Board approval if needed to avoid late payments.

A motion by Trustee Schaffer and seconded by Trustee Price for a Resolution for MFT Budget of $62,000 for fiscal year 2013/2014. Board of Trustee votes: 6 Yea
A motion by Trustee Miller and seconded by Trustee Price to have Mug-a-Bug come spray the Towns ditches. Board of Trustee votes: 6 Yea
Superintendent Ledford has looked into a rotary broom for the New Holland; cost will be approximately $2650.00. The Public Property Committee will look into the Rotary Broom.
Trustee Miller: Gary Kinney is done at the end of this month. Superintendent Ledford has his water license now; will he be signing for Superintendent Maxson until he gets his license?
President Runyon asked that the Water Committee meet.
A motion by Trustee Kubiak and seconded by Trustee J. Bell to pay bills as presented and issue vouchers for same. Board of Trustee vote: 6Yea
A motion by Trustee Price and seconded by Trustee J. Bell to adjourn at 9:40 pm.
