Tuesday, March 8, 2011, Regular Board of Trustee meeting

 

 

Official proceedings of the Board of Trustee’s, Town of Chatsworth, held in the Town Council room at 7:30 p.m.

 

Roll called showed the following present: President Haberkorn, Trustee Miller, Kubiak, Runyon and Wiles: Trustee Diller and Birkenbeil and Town Clerk Birkenbeil absent. Also present was Treasurer Gerdes-Hibsch and Zoning Commissioner Bartlett.

 

 

A motion by Trustee Miller and seconded by Trustee Wiles to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Board of Trustee vote: 4 Yea

 

Trustee Runyon requested there be a public notice put in the news paper and posted around town that there will be a meeting at the American Legion in Chatsworth on March 29, 2011 at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be to discuss Resolution #399 - April 5, 2011 election. Shall the limiting rate under the property tax limitation law for the Police protection fund for the Town of Chatsworth be increased to0.53493% for the tax years 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014?

 

Treasurer Gerdes-Hibsch brought the corporate resolution for the Citizens Bank of Chatsworth Visa card in the amount of $2000, to be placed in the employee’s names of: Norma L. Kerber Deputy Clerk, Chad E. Ledford Supt. of Streets and Alley and Stephen A. Maxson Supt. Sewer operations. Paperwork was signed by the Board of Trustees, President Haberkorn and the employees.

 

Supt. Ledford said the Boys and Girls club will be having a clean up day this spring, working on the details.

 

Supt. Maxson asked the Board for a motion to donate the glassware from the sewer plant to the Prairie Central School labs.

A motion by Trustee Miller and seconded by Trustee Wiles to donate said glassware.

 Board of Trustee vote: 4 Yea

 

A motion by Trustee Miller and seconded by Trustee Kubiak to reimburse Joel Smith $175 dollars for a water heater. Roll call: Trustee Miller, Kubiak Yea, Trustee Wiles, Runyon Nay.

Board of Trustee vote: 2 Yea / 2 Nay Tied vote.

President Haberkorn vote Yea. Motion approved.

 

A motion by Trustee Miller and seconded by Trustee Wiles to pay bills as presented and issue vouchers for same.

 Board of Trustee vote: 4 Yea

 

A motion by Trustee Miller and seconded by Trustee Kubiak to adjourn.

 

 Board of Trustee vote: 4 Yea
