Mare Reardanz – Offered to make shirts for the Employees as a way to give back to the Town. Moved here about a year ago and loves Chatsworth. The Board thanked her for her offer but The Town purchased shirts already. Appreciate the offer.
Chatsworth Township – Steve Kurtenbach addressed the Board on behalf of Neil Hornickel Township Road Commissioner. The 500 road is in need of repair. They have already spent $4286 on additional repairs. Would like to do more repairs estimated cost of $14,914.00 The Board said the Town just can not afford this extra work. The Township is interested in getting the road back and would not require the reimbursement for the $4286 already spent if the Town turns the road back over to the Township in the next 60 to 90 days. Attorney Weeks said this can be done but not sure we can get it done in 90 days. The Town will have to have the developer agree to remove the road from the TIF District. Both parties must agree. Trustee Miller will contact Mr. Kurtenbach to see what can be worked out.
Energy Alliance Brad Liegel – Energy Alliance division of Integrys is a supply company that can offer a lower kilowatt per hour than Ameren can. The bills would still come from Ameren but the supplier would become Integrys. Ameren will still do the services. Energy Alliance will offer a rate of .0480 if the Town of Chatsworth will sign up tonight for a 2 year contract. After looking over your last month’s bills, this change would save the Town of Chatsworth approximately $4000.00. It would take about 45 to 60 days to make the change. Attorney Weeks looked over the contract. A motion by Trustee Runyon and seconded by Trustee Wiles to sign up with Energy Alliance for a 2 year contract at a rate of .0480. Board of Trustee vote: 5 Yea
President Haberkorn Report: There has been complaints on the Employees parking in front of the Town Hall, makes it more difficult for some people to get in. He asked that the front of the building by the doors be left open for the citizens. The Board agreed and will notify the Employees.
